1) What are your views on cycling in Windsor?

Fabulous, I love it… great for the city, citizens and environment.  At the WECHC Street Health program we are engaging community partners to assist with a bike program that would assist those that are living below the poverty line with bike, the tools to fix them and the opportunity to get their bike they currently may own fixed.  As well as knowledge transfer on bike and road safe, supplying helmet and bike locks.   Hopefully we will have this program running by 2011.  Portions of the award winning program through our Sandwich site have been up and running already.

2) Do you own a bike? How often do you ride it?<

I do not own a bike… can ride.  That's a thought / gap, bike lessons for adults that don't ride.

3) Recent research shows that 65% of Windsorites have ridden a bike in the last year. What do you think can be done to get more Windsorites cycling more often?

  1. I like the idea of bike racks on the buses, that should be expanded to all buses.
  2. Rent a bike programs expanded
  3. Family biking activities

4) What do you think needs to be done to make Windsor more bicycle friendly?

5) What are your views on enforcing cycling laws in Windsor?

All laws need to be enforced.  I’m not apposed to revisiting bi-laws that are not relevant to today’s lifestyle or common sense.

6) Are you willing to make a commitment to bike to at least 4 city council meetings per year, to lead by example?

I don’t bike, but if I did or end up doing I will commit to biking to council meeting… I have already committed to myself to walk to them.
