As part of last year’s Clean Sweep Month in April, BFW decided to clean up one of the parks in the downtown area that had a bike trail running through it. Gateway Park, located off of University Avenue, between Wellington and Cameron, was thoroughly cleaned up by a handful of volunteers on April 25th, 2010. We managed to fill numerous garbage bags with everything from Tim Horton’s coffee cups to sheets of old insulation that had been dumped there.
